Zach Clawson scored with 4:34 remaining in the game to tie it up at three, then Zach Raub scored the game winner with 36 seconds remaining to give the Buffs the 4-3 win. The B team had two very impressive games. The first game against Arapahoe Community College. Newcomer Elliot Berger netted a hat-trick in his first game, and Scott Barrow had a goal and four assists to lead the Buffs to a 10-4 win. The second game against UCCS B was more interesting. The goaltender filled in well, and Kyle entered the game with the Buffs up 4-3 with 3:17 played in the second. The Buffs did not look back and they blew out the Mountain Lions 12-5.
