The Buffs will travel Friday to St. Louis, Missouri, where they will face Missouri S&T, Kansas State, SIU - Edwardsville, and Illinois State in a 4-game Saturday slate. Games will take place at Midwest Sport Hockey in Ballwin, MO.
The CU Buffs Roller Hockey team split their opening two games against the University of Denver yesterday in Colorado Springs. In game 1, the Buffs lost a 4-3 lead late to drop the game 5-4. Despite the disappointing end, the Buffs rebounded against the defending RMCRHA champions, scoring three early goals. Steven Hoernicke led the team in scoring by supplying 7 of the Buffs' 12 goals. Newcomers Haydn Vance and James Gallmeister chipped in with goals of their own. Goaltender Mark Ekberg made 19 saves in the second game and over 45 saves in the two-game set.

The CU Buffs roller hockey team will be opening their NCRHA campaign against the University of Denver this upcoming Sunday (10/30) at Xfinity Roller Sports Arena in Colorado Springs. Puck drop for both games are scheduled for 6pm and 715pm. Come on down and support your Buffs, as they play their first two in-state games of the year before traveling to St. Louis the following weekend!
