CU had only 5 skaters available for the day, but that did not stop them from putting in good performances over the day. In the first two games, the Buffs jumped out to quick leads, highlighted by Matt Cervino scoring 5 seconds into the first game against LA Tech. CU won both games against LA Tech and Sam Houston by a score of 12-2. The next two games saw further dominant performances by the Buffs, as they won the final two games 15-2 and 13-0, respectively.
The Buffs end the semester 6-0 and take a commanding lead in the SCHL, with 66 goals scored and 9 goals against. Austin Granmoe now holds the school record for career goals scored, as he broke the previous record held by Steven Hoernicke ('18).
The Buffs will restart in January with a packed schedule, looking to build on their first semester success and qualify for Nationals for the 5th consecutive season. If you are interested in playing for the team or donating to the team, please follow the links on the left side of the page. Go Buffs!
