The Colorado Buffaloes are the SCHL Division III Regional Champions! The Buffs won their first regional title as a member of the SCHL, and this was their first season in the division. Colorado gutted out a tough 3-2 win in the championship game against Colorado State, with Jason Rieger scoring twice in the third period to give the Buffs the lead. Colorado State played an inspired game against the Buffs, and they will hopefully get an at-large bid to Nationals. With the win, CU earns an automatic birth to Nationals 4/19-4/23 in Irvine, California. Check the “Donate to the Team” tab for information on how to financially support us. Go Buffs!

Your 12-0-1 Colorado Buffaloes will look to extend their lead in the SCHL standings when they face off against Colorado State in a two game series tomorrow morning in Parker, Colorado. The Buffs won the first two meetings against Colorado State, who will likely be the team for the Buffs to beat at Regionals next weekend.
Previously, the Buffs went to Oakland, California and went 3-0-1 on the weekend. They dropped a shootout contest to San Jose State 5-4 before beating UCSB 6-1 and then comfortably beating both Cal Poly Pomona squads. The (#1/#2) Buffs will look to extend their run tomorrow at the Parker Fieldhouse. Come out and support! |
