The second game of the tournament was against Arapahoe Community College. Captain Zach Clawson scored the first goal of the game. Shortly after Mitch Milne scored another goal. To end the first period Max Harrison scored two goals 15 seconds apart, which were both assisted by Colin Luben. In the start of the second period Zach Clawson scored his second goal of the game with an assist from Kyle Nagato. Soon after Stefan Lynch scored an unassisted goal. To end the period Connor Watson scored with an assist from Kyle Nagato. To start the first period Colin Luben scored with assists from Max Harrison and Kyle Nagato. Next Max Harrison scored a shorthanded goal with an assist from Colin Luben. To end the period Connor Watson scored two goals. Kyle Nagato assisted the first goal, and Zach Clawson assisted the second goal. Colorado defeated Arapahoe eleven to two. Goalie Zach Henderson, Max Harrison, and Connor Watson were the three stars of the game.
The third game of the tournament was against the Denver Pioneers. Max Harrison started the game by scoring a goal, which was assisted by Kyle Nagato. In the second period Zach Clawson scored a goal, which was assisted by Stefan Lynch. Kyle Nagato ended the period by scoring an unassisted goal. In the beginning of the third period Zach Clawson scored two goals. The first of Clawson’s goals was unassisted, and Kyle Nagato assisted the second goal. To end the game Kyle Nagato scored two more goals during a power play. Max Harrison assisted Nagato’s first goal, and Mitch Milne assisted Nagato’s second goal. The game ended with a seven to two victory for the Buffaloes.
After three games the Buffaloes went on to play University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Max Harrison scored an unassisted goal in the first and third period. Unfortunately the tired Buffaloes fell two to four against the Mountain Lions. Both Zach Henderson and Max Harrison were stars of the game.
