About the League
The University of Colorado Roller Hockey team is a club sport team that competes in the NCRHA. We play in the Rocky Mountain division against teams such as CSU, UNC, Metro, School of Mines, Arapahoe Community College, and Denver. There are opportunities to travel to play teams from other divisions. The season is split up by semester where 8 games are played each semester. In the spring semester there are regionals which decides the regional champion. After regionals the NCRHA selects the best teams in the nation to compete in nationals where a champion is crowned.
About the Team
The roller hockey team usually carries two teams, an A team and a B team. These teams practice 1-2 times a week (depending on availability and funds) at Rocky Mountain Roller (RMR) or Skate City Westminster. Tryouts are held at the beginning of first and second semester. Dues are between $150-$200 a semester for 8 games and practices (per semester). The team usually travels at least once a year. Jerseys are provided for a $100 deposit which is refunded once the jerseys are returned. If you have any further questions or would like to be put on the mailing list please see the contact tab.
