The second game showed domination early by K-State, as the Buffs lost 14-3. Colorado then stormed out to an early 2-0 lead against Central Missouri, but the Buffs then lost their defensive shape, dropping the game 9-5. The next games for CU will be 2/17 and 2/18 on the campus of Kansas State University.
The Colorado Buffaloes looked to improve on their good performances against DU by earning a couple of wins in St. Louis. After losing their two best defensemen and one of their best forwards for the second semester, plus some injuries, the Buffs skated into St. Louis with only six skaters and a goalie.
