CU Roller Hockey is proud to announce their sponsorship deal with Harrow Sports!  For the 2011-2012 season, Harrow Sports will be the official equipment sponsor of the CU roller hockey team.  They will be the company that will provide the new jerseys that the team will be wearing this upcoming season.  Many players on the team next year will be able to use equipment from Harrow, thanks to the great deals as a result of aforementioned sponsorship deal.  Harrow Sports is the best place to get great deals on top-of -the-line hockey equipment anywhere.  Check them out at www.harrowsports.com!

Despite the small size of the group, the Colorado roller hockey team and fans took part in the Buff Can Challenge this afternoon at the UMC on CU's campus.  This is the first of the many community service events that the Buffs will be taking place in for years to come.

The competition involved building any structure using donated food items in order to raise awareness about hunger in the Boulder area.  The roller hockey team was the only club sport involved in the competition, which was dominated by Sororities and Fraternities who were involved as a part of Greek Week.

This will fulfill the community service requirement, and the Buffs will be receiving $500, which will go towards new jerseys and equipment next season.

Thanks so much to the players and fans who helped donate cans for this great cause!
